| Descrierea postului | This role performs the analysis design and implementation of infrastructures including servers, storage workstations, middleware non-application software networks and the physical facilities that support the applications and business processes required by the client. The Migration Engineer must have ability to analyze server hardware and application architecture information to design a server migration/consolidation strategy which includes source to target mapping and cutover planning. Customer facing needs strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive issues to completion on an aggressive schedule. |
| Profil candidat | Skills: - Wintel/Linux/ Migration/Virtualization Engineer to perform Wintel/Linux P2V/V2V migrations into a newly developed target environment - Migration tasks include Wintel/Linux O.S. builds / upgrades, virtualization skills (hardware allocation/distribution I/O sharing (Zones /Non-Global etc) - P2V & V2V hardware understanding and configuration data migration between source and target environment (SAN LUN movements TDMF Platespin VMConverter etc). |
